Carnival pt. 1

Wow, here's to the first fashion post on this blog. I've never considered myself to be the most knowledgeable about trends and what's "in". However, I've always been the one to try and step outside the norms and experiment with different shapes, textures, and brands (granted most may be major FAILS). In the past few years, post the glorious era of Catholic school girl uniforms, I embraced the freedom to wear whatever the f** I wanted, and began the ever evolving journey of my own personal style. Some thought I was a try hard (who dresses up to take a final in physics anyways?), some thought I was too #basic, and some (bless the few) believed in what I wore. Thank's to those people to trusted me for fashion advice, to do fashion shoots, to collaborate, and encouraged me to start this blog... You have been apart of this journey.

What I'm wearing: Top: Zara; Mom jeans: thrifted from BlueVelvet Vintage in Detroit; Head scarf: Zara; Shoes: Calvin Klein; Lipstick: Colourpop; Bracelet: Ann Taylor.
